One of the most-watched television show in India, The Kapil Sharma Show might shock its fans. Going by the reports of Telly Chakkar, The Kapil Sharma is likely to go off-air from mid-February. Yes, you heard it right, the report of the entertainment portal suggest that the famous comedy show is likely to go off-air from mid-February. Going by the reports, the comedy show will return with a new season. But this may take about 3 months. The show has been running since December 2018.  

The shooting of the show was halted in the lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Shooting resumed from July 2020, but without audiences. Only the cutouts were placed instead of the audience. The show is currently telecasting on weekends.

Going by the reports of ETimes, makers do not have a plan to revamp the show. The life of Kapil's show is the audience. But Corona does not have a live audience. Films are also not releasing, so Bollywood actors are not coming on the show to promote a film. So the makers believe that it would be right to take a break for the show right now when things are normal, the show will also return.

Sources say that Kapil and Ginni are waiting for their second baby to arrive. In such a situation, it is time for Kapil to take a break from the show and stay at home so that he can give quality time to Ginni. By then the show will also get more entertainment content.
