One common factor in both the pillars is Youth. A well-educated youth can land high-paying jobs and work for the betterment of their family and country. However, there are jobs around the world that do not require high education but bizarre habits. Below is a list of bizarre jobs that youths should know about- 

 

1) Professional Cuddler

 

If you are good at cuddling and calming down the person, then you can earn INR 7000 per hour. Yes! you heard it right. A man named Trevor Hooton recently hit the headlines because he is a professional cuddler. As per reports, Trevor Hooton offers their clients everything from non-sexual spooning, arm tickling and deep embraces. Hooton has clients queueing up to pay £75 (Rs 7,100) for an hour-long hug helping people to feel safe and calm.  

 

 

2) Professional Sleeper

 

If you yawn and love to sleep for long hours, then in today's era it is not called being lazy but it is an opportunity to earn huge bucks. There are firms in the United States (US) that have proven the sleep myth wrong and offer jobs to people with 'exceptional sleeping ability'. A New York-based company Casper in 2023 issued a hiring under the title 'Casper Sleepers. Under this, Casper looked for candidates who did not have to sleep for long hours but also have to share their experience as 'professional sleepers' with others by creating videos in TikTok style when you are awake. As per Casper Professional Sleeper recruitment, the ideal candidate should have exceptional sleeping ability can sleep in unexpected settings, and can also inspire others. 

 

3) Fragrance Chemist

 

If your smelling senses are extraordinary, then Fragrance Chemist can be a perfect job opportunity for you. Fragrance chemists work in the fragrance industry or in academic research. Their work involves discovering new fragrance chemicals, improving how fragrance ingredients are produced and analyzing fragrances and their ingredients. They can also be involved in the study of smell, which is also known as olfaction. Fragrance Chemists are often hired by big perfume companies and luxury brands. 

 

4) Weed Smoker

 

Among the most bizarre hiring was notified in 2023 when a German company issued recruitment for youths who smoke weed. A German pharmaceutical came out with an uncanny job opportunity for 'weed smokers' with a salary of whopping £88,000 (around Rs 88 lakh) at its cannabis testing domain.  The company Cannamedical, based in Cologne recruits people who can smell, smoke and feel weed to check their quality. The founder and CEO of company David Henn said, “we do this to keep an eye on the quality control of our vendors in countries including Australia, Canada, Portugal, Macedonia, and Denmark.

 

5) Ethical Hacker

 

Many MNCs hire ethical hackers in their firms so that they can actually hack into their company system and outline the existing vulnerabilities. Ethical hackers do not intend to harm the system or organization but they do so, officially, to penetrate and locate the vulnerabilities, providing solutions to fix them and ensure safety.
