In Haqiqat NagarHaibowal area of Ludhiana, a man first shot his wife and mother-in-law ataround 6 am due to a domestic dispute and then boarded an Activa and came toNoormahil. At around 7 in the morning, a young man was shot dead. Theaccused was identified as Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Lohara Police Station,Sadar Jalandhar, who is currently living in a rented house in Patel Nagar,Ludhiana.
Jaswinder Singhallegedly shot his wife Jaspreet Kaur in the face in Patel Nagar during adomestic dispute on Tuesday morning. The accused then went straight to hisfather-in-law's house in Haqiqat Nagar and shot his mother-in-law Vandana inthe throat. Jaspreet Kaur and Vandana were rushed to Dayanand Hospital incritical condition where their condition remains critical.
After committingthese two incidents, Jaswinder Singh got into a scooter and reached Noormahaltown of Jalandhar where he went to the house of a youth living in MohallaKhatik and shot him in the head. He died on the spot. After the incident,Jaswinder Singh also fled. The deceased has been identified as Rohit's sonLubhaya Ram. The incident was captured on CCTV, from which policeidentified the accused.
The miscreant came ona white colored Activa. He knocked on the gate and then went inside andopened fire on Rohit. When his first fire was missed, he shot for thesecond time and killed Rohit. After this the killer escaped from theresitting on the same Activa. The police have sent the body to the hospitalfor post-mortem.
On coming to know aboutthis, Jalandhar Rural Police and Ludhiana Commissionerate Police have startedsearching for the accused Jaswinder. Confirming this, Jalandhar Rural SSPNaveen Singla said that the accused are being searched by forming specialteams. The police have also got the record of his Activa numberPB08CH1923.
SSP Naveen Singlaafter reaching the spot said that special teams have been formed to nab theaccused.
