Two-day orientation workshop for district and block level education officers concluded

With a view to gear up District and Block Level officers of Primary Education for meticulous planning  to give a concrete shape to  qualitative improvement in primary education under the aegis of "Parho Punjab, Parhao Punjab" at the ground level, a two-day 'Orientation Workshop' was organised at RICM, Chandigarh, which concluded on Saturday.

The State resource Persons imparted training for proper execution of various projects for improving quality education at the cutting edge level. 

He lauded the concerted, consistent and dedicated efforts of the school teachers for executing Smart School Projects by ensuring utilisation of grants as well as community mobilisation to provide infrastructural facilities especially setting up model class rooms for pre primary, optimum utilsation of latest digital apps including Punjab Educare App to provide on line education during COVID-19. He asked them to take the achievements of the Government Schools to public to mobilise parents to avail the quality education facilities by getting their wards admitted in government schools. 

He also released the latest issue of Bal Magazine " Aale Bhole" , being published to inculcate reading habits as well as promoting creative potentialities of the students. 

DPI (Primary), Lalit Kishore Ghai,  Director SCERT, Jagtar Singh Kulrhia,  State Coordinator, Parho Punjab, Parhao Punjab, Dr. Davinder Singh Boha, among others, addressed the workshop.
