Indian Premier League which is the most exciting league ever has set to take off in the coming month of 2020. This is the second time that IPL is setting its stage in UAE after 2014.

Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday arrived in the UAE for the IPL starting on September 19. Royals and KXIP landed in Dubai via a charter flight, which will be the norm this IPL due to the ongoing pandemic. Later in the evening, Kolkata Knight Riders arrived in Abu Dhabi.

As per the Guidelines approved for the tournament, the players and staff of all the franchises, were all tested multiple times for Covid-19 before their departure. Upon their arrival in the UAE, they will be required to undergo a six-day isolation period, with testing to take place on days 1, 3 and 6.

Remaining teams Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will arrive in the UAE on Friday while the other two teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, will arrive over the weekend.

As per the schedule, Sixty games will be played over 53 days across three venues -- Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
