Late night in Kapurthala, some unidentified youths attacked a private bus near village Parvez Nagar on Goindwal Road and broke the glass of the bus. A video of this incident has also gone viral on social media. It is mentioned that some youths molested and even beat up a girl that was traveling in the bus. After that, the youths got down at Parvez Nagar bus stop and attacked the bus with bricks and broke the glass. Passengers also suffered minor injuries in this incident.
At present, no complaint regarding this matter has reached the police. On the basis of the viral video the Kotwal police station has taken suo motu notice and started investigation. This has been confirmed by SHO Palwinder Singh.
According to the information, late at night some youths pelted bricks on private bus and broke its glass at Parvez Nagar bus stop in Kapurthala village. Sources told that some youths traveling on the bus molested a girl traveling on the bus and when the victim girl protested against this, the youths also beat her. The youth also used obscene language with some other women passengers present in the bus.
According to the viral video of the incident, the windows of the bus are also seen broken and there is a lot of commotion in the bus. No complaint has yet reached the police regarding this incident. Sources say that the attacking youth are residents of Parvez Nagar village.
