Arnab Goswami and BJP's battle with Maharashtra State Government has turned ugly. In the fake TRP Scam case, the Mumbai Police allegedly accessed the WhatsApp chats of former BARC CEO Partho Das Gupta who is in Mumbai Police custody. The WhatsApp chats have been allegedly leaked on social media. The leaked WhatsApp chats are 500 pages and show that Arnab and Partho were actually colluding in manipulating the TRP.
The WhatsApp chats leaked online are allegedly of Arnab and Partho Das Gupta. If the chats turn out to be genuine, it throws a series of questions to the people of India as it shows Arnab had many political connections with the BJP and he also had a connection in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
One of the segments of the chats talks about Union Information and Broadcasting Minister i.e. Prakash Javadekar. Arnab and Prakash in their alleged WhatsApp chats called Prakash Javadekar 'useless'.
This Is how the chat goes:
Partho Das Gupta asks, "Any progress on PMO?"
Arnab replies, "Yes also meeting Javadekar in Mumbai tomorrow."
Partho says, "He is useless honestly, his secretary is further. Can't take a stand and implement."
Arnab replies, "Not for PMO just as info, PMO being dealt differently."
