Union Minister Som Prakash’s health condition stable

The health condition of Senior BJP Leader and Union Minister Som Prakash, who was on Saturday admitted to Fortis Mohali after reports of ailing health, is said to be stable now.

Sources informed that on Saturday morning his oxygen saturation level decreased due to which his health deteriorated and he was taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali.

Union Minister Som Prakash tested covid19 positive on April 19, and was under home-isolation till yesterday morning. Meanwhile, the hospital authorities have informed that his condition has improved and will be discharged soon.

Notably, Punjab on Saturday recorded 5,724 fresh COVID-19 cases with 92 casualties in the last 24 hours. Notably, the state is witnessing the surge in infection cases owing to the second wave of virus which has filled the nation with grim.

The highest number of deaths in the day has been registered in Amritsar and Mohali which is 11 while Ludhiana recorded 10 deaths.
