The health condition of Senior BJP Leader and Union Minister Som Prakash, who was under home isolation after testing covid19 positive on April 19, is said to be critical, informed sources.
He has been shifted to Fortis Hospital. The cases of corona infection in Punjab are increasing each passing day. Sources informed that as his oxygen saturation level decreased, his health deteriorated, so he has been admitted to the ICU of Fortis Hospital in Mohali.
Meanwhile, early this morning six corona-infected patients died in Neelkanth Hospital in Amritsar due to lack of oxygen. Besides, 6762 patients were reported positive for covid in Punjab on Friday. 76 infected died in 18 districts. The condition of 44 remains critical as they are on ventilator. So far 8264 people have died due to the pandemic in Punjab.
