In an absolutely non-sense and shocking incident, a Tantrik (Occultists) was allegedly filmed treating patients admitted to Uttar Pradesh's government hospital. The shocking incident took place at the Mahoba district hospital and reportedly 'tantriks' allegedly treated patients admitted to the emergency ward. Local media reports suggest that the tantrik tried to cure the patients who were reportedly bitten by a scorpion a few days back. Furthermore, patients reportedly called the tantriks themselves as their conditions were not improving.

After being called upon, the tantrik performed his ritual in the emergency ward of the hospital in the presence of other patients and the staff. One of the 'tantriks', identified as Santosh Pujari was quoted by local media saying that he had 'treated' two patients in the hospital and claimed that their condition 'improved' after the rituals. He also said that the attendants of the patients often seek their services.

However, the doctors deployed at the hospital refused the claims or knowledge of tantriks treating patients at their hospital. Moreover, the district official has started probing the authenticity of the viral video and if found true, the tantriks as well as the hospital administration will face action.
