The result for the Union Public Service Commission, abbreviated as UPSC, will be announced anytime soon. The update will be announced by the Civil Service Prelims Examination 2025. Accordingly, the result will be announced on its official website, i.e., upsc.gov.in.
As per the reports, more than 10 lakh candidates appeared for the examination - which was conducted in two shifts and was held on May 26, 2025.
Notably, if we notice the earlier trends, UPSC announces the Prelims results after 15-20 days of the examination. Therefore, it is expected that the result will be declared by the mid of June 2025.
Steps to check results for UPSC Prelims Exam 2025 -
Step 1 - Visit the official website - upsc.gov.in.
Step 2 - On the homepage, click on ‘Civil Service (Prelims) Examination 2025 Results’
Step 3 - After clicking the link, the individual will get access to a PDF file
Step 4 - After opening the PDF, the candidates can check their roll numbers on the list.
It is to be noted that the people whose roll number will be on the list will be eligible to appear for the Mains exams - which will commence on August 22, 2025.

Results for UPSC Prelims 2024
According to the reports, last year, the Prelims exam was conducted on June 16; therefore, the result was announced on July 1. Whereas in 2023, the exam was conducted on May 28, and the result was declared on June 12.
