In a fresh row, famous child actor Riva Arora's Instagram account was allegedly deleted after a video of her with actor Karan Kundrra went viral. Riva Arora video sparked row when the 16-year-old was apparently seen enjoying a drink with Television actor Karan Kundrra. Although Riva Arora might have just acted to have alcohol in the video, the actress started getting criticised and a few social media users started making lewd comments on her social media posts. As a result, Riva Arora's Instagram account was removed. However, it is unclear when the account went offline or was remove by Instagram. Riva's accounts on other platforms like Facebook and YouTube are active but have a low profile. When Riva Arora Instagram account deleted row took the centre stage and started to wonder about the well being of the child artist, the actor's mother issued an apology on her Instagram account.
Riva's mother Nisha Arora on her Instagram wrote, "I Nisha Arora tender my apology for the video I made for my daughter Riva Arora’s account where I used alcohol setup and which created so much problem and bad image in the society. I heartily believe being a actor and role model for the society we should portray good image in the society, I wanted to request all the child actors and their parents to avoid such kind of videos. I will take care in future and I have given a apology letter to the NCPCR and given them all the clarifications related to the issue."

For those who are unaware, Riva Arora was featured in an Instagram reel with actor Karan Kundrra. One of the scenes in the video was captured in a bar setup, which created major controversy and outrage on social media. In the reel, Karan Kundrra played child actress Riva Arora's boyfriend while the actress already had a relationship with another man. While the actors in the reel were adults, Riva was 12 years old. In the reel, Riva was also slammed for wearing a 'revealing' dress and sat cross-legged near the bar.
As the controversy intensified, the reel was later removed from YouTube. After the video went viral, the National Commission of Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) took cognizance of the controversial reel on Instagram. As a result, Riva Arora's mother Nisha Arora later submitted a written apology to the commission.
