Urvashi Rautela, an Indian actress and former beauty queen, has announced that she is serving a legal notice for defamation against a journalist who had posted false information about her on Twitter. Urvashi shared the journalist's fake tweet on Instagram and stated that he was not her official spokesperson and had made her and her family extremely uncomfortable by his allegations. The tweet alleged that actor Akhil Akkineni had harassed Urvashi while she filmed a song from his upcoming film Agent in Europe. Umair Sandhu, the journalist based in Kuwait, has not yet responded to Urvashi's claims.
Urvashi Rautela's fans have shown their support on social media and assured her that everything would be alright soon. The actress is currently shooting for two Telugu films including the feature Black Rose, and made her Bollywood debut in 2013 opposite Sunny Deol in Singh Saab The Great. Urvashi has also appeared in several music videos, including Yo Yo Honey Singh's international video album Love Dose in October 2014.
