US academic Tom Nichols has been censured by the internet including Zomato after he criticised Indian food in a rude post on Twitter on Sunday. It all began with a Twitter user, Jon Becker's post as he asked netizens to write about their "most controversial food opinion" on the micro-blogging platform.

"Please quote tweet this with your most controversial food opinion, I love controversial food opinions," Jon Becker said in his post. For your reference, here's the post that escalated the aforementioned controversy.
