No, she’s not lucky, she’s blessed—yes! Nicki Minaj is officially a mother! The rapper gave birth to her first child with husband Kenneth Petty in LA. The sex and name of the baby have not yet been revealed.
Minaj announced her pregnancy back in July in a series of four Instagram posts that were endlessly glamorous. The first post showcased Minaj cradling her baby bump with the simple caption, “#Preggers.” Another post in this series expressed her excitement over her baby news.

“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage,” the star wrote. “Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.” The final photo the 37-year-old shared showcased Minaj looking angelic among a grassy area with a psychedelic background. As she captioned it, “And finally, by #DavidLaChapelle.”
According to reports, neither Minaj nor Petty (who got married in Oct. 2019) has spoken publicly about the exciting news, but fans are over the moon for rap icon.

While the sex of the baby is not yet known, fans of the “Moment 4 Life” rapper thought she might have let the news slip not long after her pregnancy announcement. In a video on the star’s Instagram Story in July, Minaj shared a video of an adorable bundle of baby clothes sent to her by designer Ricardo Tisci, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry.

Thank you.” Eagle-eyed fans noticed that one of the onesies in the collection appeared to be the boy/unisex version of the garment. The onesie for girls sports a slightly ruffled shoulder. Some fans took this to mean the baby was a boy.
