Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog is an institute under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, which was constituted as an attempt to conserve and protect India's cattle population.

In the conference, he has also urged the Indians to make use of cow dung made diyas on this Diwali than China-made diyas. This will also boost the ''Make in India'' concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ''swadeshi movement''.
