“Uttar Pradesh will witness democratic revolution in 2022,” says Akhilesh Yadav

On Wednesday, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav claimed that there would be a democratic revolution in Uttar Pradesh in 2022 against the current “disruptive” and “negative” politics. 

On Wednesday, Yadav took Twitter and tweeted in Hindi, his tweet read, “Today's disruptive-conservative negative politics united against the power of exploited, neglected, oppressed, humiliated Dalit, oppressed, deprived, poor, farmers, workers, women and youth 'new politics' is taking birth.

"In 2022, there will be no democratic revolution in UP," he said. 

The SP supremo has claimed that the people of Uttar Pradesh are against the Bhartiya Janta Party and has exuded confidence that his party would win nearly 350 seats out of 403 seats in the assembly elections.

Earlier as well Yadav has accused the politics of the ruling party as deceit and negative. On Tuesday, he slammed BJP by saying that the saffron-coloured party has damaged the hopes and is playing with the sentiments of the people. He further said that the party does not trust the Constitution of India and moral values as it is not interested in the truth.

The news agency quoted Yadav as saying, “The truth is that the BJP is not interested in development, but destruction. It does not have any faith in the Constitution and moral values. It has damaged the hopes of people and played with their sentiments. The BJP is doing politics using deceit, force, terror and allurement.”

Recently, Akhilesh Yadav accused the ruling party by saying that BJP is blatantly demolishing the democratic institutions by using unfair means to win Zila Panchayat chairman elections. 

Akhilesh Yadav said, “They have crossed all limits by misusing government machinery to trample every democratic institution merely to win the Zila panchayat polls. Brute force was used to stop SP candidates and their proposers from filing nomination papers for districts panchayat chairman polls.”
