PM Modi will be inaugurating multiple Vande Bharat trains on December 30. These include new routes for the Vande Bharat express throughout northern India. These involve many publicly requested stops in its route from Punjab, most notably Jalandhar and Ludhiana. They will be included in the Amritsar to Delhi Vande Bharat Express, much to the satisfaction of Punjabi commuters.

The VB express will start from Amritsar at 8:30 in the morning and will reach Ludhiana at 10:16 AM. It will stay there for 2 minutes and then depart at 10:18 AM. From there it will pass through Sahnewal and Ambala, stopping only at Ambala for 2 minutes as well but not at Sahnewal. It will finally reach Delhi at 1:50 PM.

In the evening, the VB express will start its return journey from Delhi at 3:15 PM. From there, passing through Ambala and Sahnewal, it will reach Ludhiana at 6:36 PM. Then it will stop at Jalandhar City at 7:26 PM for 2 minutes before continuing on its way to Amritsar.

The Vande Bharat Express is a medium distance train service run by the Indian Railways. It was unveiled by PM Modi to much fanfare from the public. The Delhi-Katra route did not include any stop in Jalandhar much to its citizens’ dismay, but it has been remedied in the new routes to be introduced on December 30. Find the time table below:
