Vande Bharat Sleeper and Vande Bharat Patna to New Delhi train; well, this is among the most sought-after train services that passengers query about. It has been witnessed that Patna to Delhi trains often remain fully booked, be it pocket-friendly Garib Rath or be it Rajdhani Express or Duranto, lakhs of passengers commute between Bihar and the national capital daily. Keeping this in mind, Indian Railways last year ran the Vande Bharat Train on this route. However, it was soon discontinued due to the distance between Patna and Delhi. Vande Bharat Train Patna-Delhi Update
As per reports, the Vande Bharat Sleeper Patna to Delhi train will cover the distance from Patna to Delhi in just nine hours. At present, its preparation is being done rapidly by the Railway Board. Track repair and upgradation work is also being done on the Patna-Delhi rail section under this, so that the speed and safety of the train can be ensured. MP Ravi Shankar Prasad gave this information at the inauguration ceremony of the Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express from Patliputra Junction on Friday.
Ravi Shankar Prasad said that this train will not only connect Patna and Delhi, but will also give impetus to the economic and social development of Bihar. He said that work is going on on a development plan of Rs 80 thousand crore by the Central Government for Bihar. Work is progressing rapidly on projects like new bridges on the Ganga river, new roads, and the establishment of a central university.
Vande Bharat Express Patna-Delhi
The Vande Bharat sleeper train will take up to 9 hours to reach Delhi from Patna. Its expected route will be Patna Junction → Mughalsarai (DDU) → Prayagraj → Kanpur → Ghaziabad → New Delhi.
Talking about Vande Bharat Sleeper Fare, it will be comparable to Rajdhani Express, with sleeper class estimated between Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,500–Rs 1,800.
Vande Bharat Sleeper train is expected to be fully operational by 2025 end.
