In a massive development for upcoming India vs Australia series, IPL 2020 spin sensation Varun Chakravarthy has been ruled out of the T-20 series.  Varun Chakravarthy was selected by the BCCi for his brilliant performance for the Kolkata Knight Riders. 

India will be touring Australia for three ODIs, three T20Is, and four Tests, scheduled to be played between November 27 and January 19. Virat Kohli-led Team India will begin the title defense of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with the pink-ball Test in Adelaide from December 17. It will be followed by Tests at the MCG (December 26), the Sydney Cricket Ground (January 7) and the Gabba (January 15).

As per BCCI officials, Varun Chakravarthy has been ruled out of the T20I series owing to a shoulder injury. The selectors have named T Natarajan as a replacement.

Also, Rohit Sharma has been added to the Test squad of the Indian Cricket team as Virat will be on paternity leave after first test against Australia.
