Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s Jug Jugg Jeyo delayed by the Janta Curfew

As per the reports, the movie’s second schedule was planned to begin from this month in Mumbai.

Since last months the entire country is once again battling with the Covid 19 pandemic and this time the crisis has hit us even harder. Each and every state is doing its best to keep the virus out of the doors. Maharashtra The government has imposed the Janta Curfew because of the worsening condition of the health infrastructure. This curfew has hit many small businesses and also the film and television industry. Many shoots were postponed and even got canceled. Among those Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer, ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ has been halted.

As per the reports, the movie’s second schedule was planned to begin from this month in Mumbai. However due to the Janta curfew the shooting had to be delayed. In conversation with Mid-Day, the director of Jug Jugg Jeeyo  Raj Mehta confirmed the news and said, “we were supposed to shoot this month but are faced with a challenge again. We have shot the first schedule right after the first wave of the pandemic. It was difficult and we did have cases on the set. But at the end of the day, you have to take safety precautions and trust the team”.

Taking back to 2020, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor were tested positive for the virus last year December and after a break, both were back on the sets in Chandigarh to complete the schedule. The film is a mixture of drama and comedy centered around a couple played by Varun and Kiara under the direction of Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions.
