Coronavirus: Rajya Sabha Speaker Venkaiah Naidu cracks joke on Binoy Viswam's sore throat

"You have to be tested before you are allowed to speak," Naidu told the member, Binoy Viswam of the Communist Party of India (CPI), to much laughter from other MPs.

With India going through a panic situation of the outbreak of Coronavirus, members of Rajya Sabha experienced a moment of humour on Thursday. Vice President and Speaker of Rajya Sabha M Venkaiah Naidu cracked a joke on Binoy Viswam of the CPI who was suffering from sore throat and tried to put forward his point on the debate of Coronavirus. 

"You have to be tested before you are allowed to speak," Naidu told the member, Binoy Viswam of the Communist Party of India (CPI), to much laughter from other MPs."All the best to you," Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu told him. "I have said it in a lighter vein. Don't take it otherwise."

As per Union Health Minister, Harsh Vardhan a total of 29 people in India have Covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, recently named Sars-CoV-2.
