In a bizarre incident, a farmer carrying a sack on his head was denied entry into a Bengaluru metro station for allegedly wearing shabby clothes. As per reports, the farmer was not allowed to board the train at the Namma Metro in Bengaluru after security personnel stopped him when they found his clothes to be "unsuitable" for travel. A person standing there shot the video and started to confront the Bengaluru Metro security personnel. Now, the Bengaluru metro farmer video is going viral on social media.

The Bengaluru metro farmer video was shared on X by a special media user with the caption, "UNBELIEVABLE..! Is metro only for VIPs? Is there a dress code to use Metro? I appreciate actions of Karthik C Airani, who fought for the right of a farmer at Rajajinagar metro station. We need more such heroes everywhere. @OfficialBMRCL train your officials  properly." Netizens wondered if the farmer boarded the train or not. In response, the user wrote, "Yes, Karthik took him inside, ignoring officials."

Notably, after the Namma Metro farmer entry video went viral on social media, the security supervisor was sacked. The farmer, who was wearing a white shirt and carrying a bundle of clothes on his head, was stopped at the security checkpoint at Rajajinagar metro station, even though he had a valid ticket.

After the viral video caused social media outrage, the BMRCL responded saying that it regretted the inconvenience caused to the farmer and said the Namma Metro is an inclusive mode of transport.
