Vigilance Bureau investigates disproportionate assets allegations against former Punjab Minister Vijay Inder Singla

Vigilance Bureau officials probe allegations of disproportionate income case against former Punjab cabinet minister Vijay Inder Singla. A team from the bureau visited Singla’s Patiala residence to assess the value of his assets amidst ongoing investigations. Singla, who held the positions of PWD and Education minister in the previous Congress regime, faced questioning by the VB in Sangrur earlier. The bureau has also interrogated individuals closely associated with Singla. Patiala SSP Jagatpreet Singh confirmed that the inquiry into Singla’s assets is still ongoing, with the technicalities of his Patiala residence and commercial building in the city being assessed.
