As several states are trying to come up with stricter restrictions to stop the chain of novel coronavirus, police in several parts of the country are forced to come up with a unique way to punish people who are flouting these restrictions.

This time Rajasthan police came up with this unique idea of punishment.

A video of two youths doing Nagin Dance on the road in Rajasthan as a punishment for flouting Covid norms has gone viral on social media. In the video, the youth can be seen dancing on the road by the police, meanwhile, policemen are recording the video and asking them to continue with dance.

Reportedly, the video is from the Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. The police are punishing the youths for coming out of their houses without any reason amid lockdown.

The video has surfaced all around the internet and social media users are enjoying the fun punishment. However, some netizens are also criticizing police for interrupting people’s lives just for fun.

This is not the first time where police have found a fun and creative way of punishing people for not following covid restrictions. Earlier, a video had gone viral on social media, in which police were making people do exercise as a punishment for flouting Covid norms.

Rajasthan recorded 10,290 new coronavirus infection cases with 156 fatalities on May 16. According to the official report on Sunday, the Rajasthan Covid tally remains 8,59,669 and total deaths to 6,777. Meanwhile, India has reported 3,11,170 fresh covid19 cases and 4,077 fatalities in the last 24 hours.
