Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s Twitter account handler detained in Amritsar

On 20th February 2023, complaint was registered against him for display of weapons on social media

In the latest development, Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s social media handler was detained at the Amritsar Airport in Punjab. The detained person has been identified as Gurinderpal Singh who was responsible for handling various social media accounts of Amritpal Singh. Interrogation is currently underway.

Reportedly, Waris Punjab De Chief Amrtipal Singh’s official social media handler was detained from Amritsar Airport on Friday. Earlier, a look out notice was issued against him by Punjab government. After arrest he was taken to the concerned police station and interrogation is currently going on against him. Detained person, Gurinderpal Singh is a resident of UK. He is mainly responsible for handling Twitter account of Amritpal Singh which was banned by Indian government. An FIR was registered in Jalandhar, Punjab, the LOC in his name was taken out so that he could not go abroad. On 20th February 2023, complaint was registered against him for display of weapons on social media which is banned by Punjab government.

Punjab Police cancels arms licenses of 9 Amritpal Singh’s associates over clash at Ajnala Police Station

Prior to this, Punjab Police has taken a strict action against Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh’s associates. hey cancelled arms licenses of Waris Punjab De Chief’s close associates namely Harjit Singh Amritsar, Baljinder Singh Amritsar, Ram Singh Brar Kotkapura, Gurmat Singh Moga, Avtar Singh Sangrur, Varinder Singh Tarn Taran, Harpreet Devgan Patiala, Amritpal Singh Tarn Taran and Gurbej Singh. The license of Talwinder Singh from Tarn Taran has also been sent to Jammu and Kashmir for review as it was made there.

All these actions are being taken by the Punjab Police in regard to the Ajnala Police Station clash.
