The lives of millions of Afghans changed as the Taliban on August 15 took over Kabul confirming the collapse of Afghanistan. Everyone has been devastated by the ongoing deterioration ofthe situation in the nation. Since the Taliban took control of the presidential palace, the Internet has been swamped with heartbreaking images and videos revealing the dire condition of Afghans who are yearning to flee thewar-torn country.


In the midst of tragic conditions in Afghanistan, a photo has gone viral that shows over 600 Afghans crowded into a large US Air Force plane that successfully fled Kabul's internationalairport on Sunday night after the crew chose to let the evacuees stay aboard.


The US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III safely airlifted 640 refugees, including women and children, from Kabul to Qatar.

An official of the US defence and security news site Defense One said that the C-17 was not designed to carry such a heavy load, but frightened Afghans who had been cleared to evacuate rushedonto the half-open ramp.


“Rather than trying to force the refugees off the plane, the crew decided to leave. When the plane landed at its location, some 640 Afghan civilians disembarked,” a defence officialtold media.

Meanwhile, at least ten people have been killed, and numerous others have been injured, amid turmoil and shooting at the Kabul international airport's passenger terminal as thousandsof Afghans had gathered in the hopes of fleeing the country.


As per the reports, at least three young men fell to death as they clung outside the US military plane taking off from Afghanistan. The picture could not be shown due to their sensitivenature, but as described by some locals, these people fell on the roofs of houses making a loud and gut-wrenching sound.
