
Now people notwearing masks have to undergo a Covid-19 test along with a penalty of Rs. 1000as Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Friday directed police and healthauthorities to integrate challaning and testing drives together.
Divulging thedetails, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said keeping in view the spike innew cases; it has become even more essential to adopt Covid appropriatebehavior strictly.
In order to checkviolation of these norms especially wearing masks, the joint Nakas of policeand health teams would be formed across the district. He mentioned that thosenot wearing masks have to undergo a Covid-19 test besides paying penalty fortheir act.
Mr. Thoricategorically mentioned that implementation of Covid appropriate behavior is akey to stem the spread of virus and those not adhering to these guidelines haveto be dealt with a heavy hand.
The deputycommissioner stated the district administration has already appointed monitorsand nodal officers to check gatherings in marriage palaces and banquet halls sothat the ceiling of 100 and 200 persons for indoor and outdoor events could bemaintained properly.
Further, thedistrict has already enforced all protocols strictly and heavy penalties wereimposed on the violators. He further appealed to people to follow all guidelinesso that the virus could be kept at bay because this is the high-time toimplement the protocol for keeping virus spread under check.
