In a major development, panic erupted inside a Delhi-bound Indigo flight after it made an emergency landing at Patna Airport. An Indigo flight that was en route to New Delhi made an emergency landing at Patna's Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport on Friday sparking panic among its 181 passengers that were on board. An airport official was quoted saying that the Indigo flight took off from Patna airport and was heading to New Delhi, however, in a matter of just 3 minutes it returned back to Jay Prakash International Airport 'due to a technical issue'. The official stated, "Three minutes after its departure, the pilot reported one engine inoperative. The aircraft landed safely at 9.11 am. As per the pilot, no further assistance was required. All operations are normal here."
