After completing his stint on TV, Kapil Sharma returned with his new show named The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. Season 1 of The Great Indian Kapil Show was recently wrapped up as shared by Archana Puran Singh. Talking to a news portal, Kiku Sharda who plays Chef Dhaniyalal on Netflix's show  revealed that the team shot the last episode of Netflix's original ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ on May 1. He stated that even though five episodes of the comedy show have been released so far, eight more will be out soon. Following this, Kapil will take a small break and then return with the second season of his show. Amid this, Kapil Sharma's fees have been revealed. Yes! you heard it right. As mentioned above, Kapil Sharma charged a whopping amount of Rs 26 crore for the first five episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show. It means Kapil Sharma's per episode fee is more than Rs 5 crore. This is not the first time Kapil Sharma's fees have grabbed headlines. Many guest celebrities have already joked about Kapil's high-paying salary including Akshay Kumar. 

 

The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix on March 30, 2024, with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni as the first guests. In the second episode, the actor-comedian welcomed cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer. Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra graced the show’s third episode to promote their film, Amar Singh Chamkila. They were also joined by the director of their movie, Imtiaz Ali. The fourth episode featured Vicky Kaushal and his brother. Finally, in the fifth episode, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan appeared and spilled the beans about his personal and professional life. The next guests on The Great Indian Kapil Show will be Sunny and Bobby Deol. 

The show features Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. The fresh episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show will air at 8 PM every Saturday.
