After another unexpected twist in the courtroom series, the fans are left wondering if Advocate Madhav Mishra will drown further in the complications arising with each episode on the Roshni Saluja murder case, or will he finally get a lead in the next episode? The tiringly long wait for the next episode has made fans turn into detectives trying to unravel the mystery of the Roshni Saluja case. Many fan theories are floating on the internet, accusing one or another character of the crime. But the real killer can only be caught by Pankaj Tripathi aka Madhav Mishra in the next episodes, which are also the final episodes of the crime-thriller show.
What happened in the last episode?
The latest episode of the murder mystery aired recently on 19 June, and fans were blown with the series of events that took an unexpected turn. While the viewers were expecting Mishra Ji to take the lead towards justice, things took a different turn. Gradually, towards the end of the episode, Lekha Agastya has the upper hand.
Now, fans are eager to know how Mishra ji will counter her and bring justice to Roshni Saluja. Here’s what the fans say about it:
One user tweeted, “This was the episode we all were waiting for, no timepass, just solid storytelling. At first, the defence had the upper hand, but by the end, Lekha Agastya shut things down. Now I’m curious to see Madhav Mishra’s counter. My guess is still the fat doctor.”
While another tweet read, “Mom and Dad watch CRIMINAL JUSTICE every Thursday so punctually, it’s like they’re attending a real court hearing right on time. #CriminalJustice @TripathiiPankaj your performance is phenomenal!”
Some also expressed their frustration with the weekly release pattern of the show, “Hey @JioHotstar, it’s such a bad idea to release Criminal Justice Season 4 in episodes every Thursday. It’s really annoying, why not drop all the episodes at once? What’s wrong with you guys. Please release the full season!”
Jio Hotstar’s weekly release strategy
For the new viewers unaware of the weekly release pattern, India’s most-watched crime drama has created a buzz among viewers not only because of its captivating storyline and brilliant performance by actors, but also because of its episode release schedule, which has enraged the regular viewers and forced some to stop watching the series until full season release.
According to insiders, the deliberate pacing has a strategic angle. JioHotstar aims to maintain prolonged engagement in the courtroom drama, ensuring that each episode trends individually, increasing the show’s shelf life, fueling online conversions among viewers, which seems to be working.
Release date of the last 2 episodes
After releasing the first three episodes on the same date, Jio Hotstar changed its episode roll-out schedule by dropping new episodes every Thursday, despite several requests from fans to release all the episodes together. Jio Hotstar has not yet made any changes to the release pattern. The 7th episode will air on 26 June 2025, while the 8th and the last episode will be available on 3 July 2025.
