Now we run India’s most hi-tech modern Gurukul. One of our students even secured AIR-3 in the IIT-JEE Advanced this year,” he shared proudly. Below is what Anand Praksash revealed while giving the tour of his house-
"Our Taj Mahal is a 4 BHK where we reside. Made out of Makarana Marble. The dimensions of the original Taj Mahal are in meters, but our house is in feet. This is how we made it in reduced size by one-third. It is 100 percent dedicated to her (wife). My love will always stand with her. I used to distribute milk as a child so when we enter the house the symbol of the buffalo keeps us grounded. To never be arrogant.
Pointing at the floor, he said, "This is totally an inlay work. Artists in a span of 8-10 days, with 8 to 10 hours per day, have made it. It is beautiful and symmetrical. The original Taj Mahal has similar work, but there is too much darkness inside. That's a grave, and this is our house."
"This is our living area. It has double walls. Two 9-inch walls with 2 inches of air space in between. Same temperature in winters, summers, and monsoons. Both of us (Anand and his wife) were good at studies. She left medical, and I left engineering. Now, we run India's most hi-tech modern Gurukul. 2200 students reside in hostels here and that's our family now. This year, AIR-3 in IIT-JEE advanced came from our campus. We do it as social workers."
The house is located in Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh. This awe-inspiring home is a scaled-down version of the 17th-century monument and cost approximately Rs 2 crore (around $260,000).
