Bollywood actor Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend Somy Ali on Wednesday sparked a row when she threatened to expose 'Harvey Weinstein of Bollywood' and lauded Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for standing up against Bollywood star who abuse women and sharing the truth. Somy Ali took to her Instagram and also shared a still of Salman Khan's Maine Pyar Kiya song 'Aate Jaate'. However, Somy soon deleted her post giving air to speculation that Harver Weinstein of Bollywood is none other than Salman Khan himself. Who is Harvey Weinstein?
Harvey Weinstein is an American former film producer and convicted sex offender. He and his brother, Bob Weinstein, co-founded the entertainment company Miramax, which produced successful independent films including Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Pulp Fiction (1994) and more. A massive erupted after in October 2017, Harvey was dismissed from his company following sexual abuse allegations dating back to the late 1970s, Weinstein was dismissed from his company and expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Although there is no direct connection of Harvey Weinstein with Bollywood, Somy Ali has used his reference threatening to expose a Bollywood star whose traits is much is like the Weinstein. Notably, the specualtions are high that the actor is none other than Bollywood as former Miss World and Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai was also ex-girlfriend of the Dabbang actor. Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai's relationship ended on a sour note. Somy Ali and Salman Khan's relationship too had ended badly.
In an interview with Zoom TV, Somy had said, "It’s been 20 years since I broke up with him. He cheated on me and I broke up with him and left. It’s as simple as that.” The actor added that they both have moved on in their lives.
