Jane Tu Ya Jane Na fame Bollywood actor Imran Khan on Sunday was spotted with his rumored girlfriend Lekha Washington. Imran Khan who is also the nephew of Bollywood star Aamir Khan rarely makes his public appearance. However, this time, Imran did not shy away and was spotted hand-in-hand with his rumored girlfriend Lekha Washington. Notably, Bollywood actor Imran Khan and Avantika Malik married in 2011 after dating for years. Imran was dating Avantike since his college days. However, things went wrong when Bollywood Hungama reported that Avantika and Imran parted their ways due to the presence of another woman in Imran's life.
The news agency quoted a source close to both Avantika and Imran, who said, "Imran and Lekha have been seeing each other for some time. Lekha's husband Pablo Chatterji and Imran were close buddies but a roaring affair between the two started without anyone's knowledge. In fact, after Avantika moved out of the bungalow, Imran has started introducing Lekha to his circle as well. This has also brought Lekha's marriage on the brink of a breakdown. Who is Lekha Washington?
For those who are unaware, Lekha Washington is an Indian actress, artist, and product designer who has predominantly appeared in Tamil and Telugu language films. She was first recognized for her work as a sculptor in 2002 and then as a theatre actress in Chennai-based stage plays. After appearing as a video jockey with SS Music, Washington's breakthrough film role was as an independent estranged sister in Jayamkondaan (2008), whilst she has gone on to portray roles in the multi-starrer Vedam and the comedy Va. Notably, Imran and Lekha had worked together in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola (2013). After Imran's divorce with Avantika, Lekha had shared a message on marriage and divorce on her Instagram handle and had said, “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard.”
Notably, Imran Khan's former Avantika has already moved on. A news portal quoted a source in the known developments saying, "Avantika is really happy and they enjoy each others company. She’s the sort who doesn’t believe in living in the past and loves to live in the moment. Avantika and Sahib met through common friends and are taking it easy. They are not in a rush to put any label on their friendship."
