The woman has been identified as Mona Reap and she is from Warren, Arkansas. According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the winning numbers were 29, 40, 47, 50, and 57 plus Megaball 25. As per US media reports, Mona saw a friend’s Facebook post congratulating the unidentified winner of the $20,000 Mega Millions ticket. At first, Mona did not believe that the ticket number belonged to her and she has won the lottery. "Man, I wonder if that’s me,” Reap thought to herself after seeing the Facebook status as quoted by a US media portal. Following that Mona Reap told lottery officials. “I checked my tickets that night and was shocked when I came across the winning Mega Millions ticket. I kept thinking I was looking at it wrong!”

Interestingly, Mona's lucky smiled again when she visited the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery headquarters to claim her prize. Mona knew that she’d won more than $500 however had no idea she had secured the $20,000 prize. To be precise, Reap matched four white ball numbers and the Megaball number as well. Therefore, this doubled her $10,000 prize into $20,000 due to her buying the $1 Megaplier.

With Mona hitting the jackpot, she now plans to use this money to pay her mortgage and to finance home improvements.
