Who killed Samya Silva? 21-year-old influencer shot dead in Brazil by bike-borne gunmen

In a shocking development, a 21-year-old social media influencer named Samya Silva died in Brazil. As per reports, Samya Silva was shot dead by two bike-borne unidentified gunmen after she left a club with her friends. Apart from being a social media influencer, Samya Silva was also the mother of one child. Samya Silva's body was riddled with bullets after she left the venue in Teresina, Brazil with her two friends. Talking about Samya Silva's death reason, she was shot at least 6 times by gunmen.

As per Brazilian media reports, Samya Silva collapsed in the middle of the road after she was shot. Following that paramedics arrived on the crime scene. The 21-year-old influencer was pronounced dead at the spot when paramedics arrived there. The influencer's friends were unharmed. It is pertinent to mention here that Samya had posted a video of herself chuckling about the hot weather on Instagram just one hour before her death. Not only this, but a short while earlier, she had posted a heart-wrenching video from inside a club captioned: “I don’t know why this song reminds me of you, Mum” followed by a hand-heart emoji.

Talking more about Samya Silva's murder, Police cordoned off the crime scene after she was shot dead. As per reports, cops are currently working to identify the shooters and establish a motive for the killing amid speculation it may have been gang-related.

It is worth mentioning that Samya was reportedly once filmed dancing to music with friends while making a "number three" hand sign - believed to refer to the three initials of the PCC. For the unversed, the PCC, or Primeiro Comando da Capital, is a criminal organisation believed to be Brazil’s largest and best organised. The PCC organisation was formed by prisoners in São Paulo state in the 1990s. It is reported that PCC now have around 30,000 members throughout Brazil and in neighbouring countries. Samya had a son as mentioned above.
