Hence, multiple market associations of Jalandhar have announced that they will also observe summer vacation in the coming days. Now, Medical Shops have also joined the summer holidays trend.
Following the trend, wholesale medicine traders have also announced their annual break, leading to the temporary closure of medicine shops for four consecutive days. According to Rishu Verma, President of the Wholesale Chemist Organisation (WCO), and Cashier Nishant Chopra, wholesale medicine shops will remain shut from June 19 to June 22. The affected areas include Dilkusha Market, Rama Krishna Market, Union Complex, Dhillon Complex, Trivedi Complex, P & R Complex, and Jaydev Market, along with surrounding shops.
Due to the upcoming closures, customers have been rushing to the markets to stock up on essential items in advance. The association has urged the public to purchase their required medicines beforehand to avoid inconvenience during the four-day break.
