In yet another incident, a woman has dragged her husband to the police station after he forced her to watch porn. Earlier, she had complained of harassment for the dowry.
The woman had filed a dowry harassment case against her husband, according to reports, following which the police began counselling them. During the counselling process, another reason for the dispute between the couple came to light. The woman alleged that her husband used to watch porn and torture her physically as well as mentally.
In July 2020, the 25-year-old woman married a man from Incholi in Meerut. The quarrel occurred between the newlywed wife and her husband, after which she filed an FIR accusing him of demanding dowry. She also alleged that he used to physically abuse and beat her.
Following her complaint, SP crime transferred the case to Family Counselling Center where the couple was counselled by CO Rupali Rai, PPK in charge- Monica Jindal, and other counsellors. During the investigation, it was discovered that the husband's habit of watching porn was the cause of the conflict.
Reportedly, the husband would watch porn in bedroom, then torture his wife mentally and physically. He also used to beat her on opposing him. However, the victim said that if he stops watching porn, she will give him another chance.

The woman has demanded her husband to not use his phone in the bedroom and only talk on it in front of her. The husband agreed to the terms and gave it to the cops in writing.
