Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan announced the return of the popular franchise with the fourth film in the series on the 15th anniversary of his blockbuster superhero film "Krrish."
The actor's father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, directed the first film, "Koi... Mil Gaya," which was released in 2003.
It was followed by "Krrish," which was released in 2006, and "Krrish 3," which was released in 2013.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Naseeruddin Shah, and Rekha also star.
Rakesh Roshan revealed in 2018 that the fourth film of the "Krrish" franchise will be released on Christmas Day 2020.In a previous interview, Hrithik said that after the release of "War," the fourth film of "Krrish" will begin filming.
Hrithik had told in 2019, "After 'War,' I'm going to sit down with my father, gather everyone, and get back to work on 'Krrish 4'. Because Dad was recovering, we had put it to the side. We'll re-start it now that he's feeling better ".
