On Wednesday, DM Kaushambi, Sujeet Kumar was stopped by SP workersbefore going towards the strong room. The workers held his and starting checkingit up for 20 minutes. During this time, DM didn’t utter a word, as the group hadcompletely taken control.
SP workers have started checking vehicles thoroughly amid callsfor EVM swapping being heard everywhere. In Varanasi, ADM Neelkant Singh has beensuspended over the issue of mishandling EVMs. It’s been reported that EVMs werefound in vehicle outside strong room.
As UP is heading to poll counting tomorrow, SP workers are tryingtheir best to keep a check over everything. The workers have kept themselves atthe gates of strong rooms.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday SP chief Akhilesh Yadav held a pressconference in which he alleged that there were attempts of swapping EVM taking placein UP. The move of securing strong rooms by SP started after that.
On the question of exit polls, he said that all these exit pollsare going to be failed. Akhilesh claimed, he’s firm sure that SP will UP with aclear majority.
