'Where there is a will, there is a way'; this quote seems absolutely true when it comes to a 10-year-old boy named Jaspreet. Jaspreet's heartbreaking story has melted people on social after his video went viral on X. At just 10, Jaspreet is selling fast food in Delhi in order to feed himself and his older sister. Jaspreet lost his father and following that his mother left him and went to Punjab. As a result, Jaspreet is now living with his uncle in New Delhi and selling variety of rolls to the people in New Delhi. Jaspreet's story was first brought to light by food vlogger Sarabjeet Singh aka mrsinghfoodhunter, was seen making a chicken egg roll in the video that has touched millions online. When the vlogger asked him about his family and other details, Jaspreet, without losing the smile on his face, revealed that he had recently lost his father to brain tuberculosis.

 

Jaspreet also revealed that he has his elder sister who is 14 years old. Jaspreet learned to cook from his father. At just 10, Jaspreet can cook a variety of rolls at his stall, from chicken and kabab rolls to paneer and chowmein rolls. I am the son of Guru Gobind Singh ji. Will fight as long as I have the strength," Jaspreet said when the food vlogger asked him what keeps him going. 

 

After the video came at the attention of Anand Mahindra, he took to his X handle and promised to take care of his education. Sharing the video, the Industrialist wrote, "Courage, thy name is Jaspreet.  But his education shouldn’t suffer.  I believe, he’s in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. If anyone has access to his contact number please do share it. The Mahindra foundation team will explore how we can support his education.

 

Apart from Anand Mahindra, BJP leader Tajinder Bagga and Aam Aadmi Party leader Jarnail Singh who is the MLA from Delhi's Tilak Nagar also assured to help Jaspreet in his struggle.
