You might not know this thing about Justin Narayan, winner of MasterChef Australia Season 13

On July 13, Justin Narayan was announced the winner of the famous TV show MasterChef. The result was announced before the release of the episode and created a buzz among the viewers on Tuesday.

Justin Narayan was overwhelmed after being announced the winner of MasterChef Australia Season 13. The 27 year old from Western Australia  took home not just the trophy but also $250,000.

Justin belongs from Western Australia and lives in City Beach. He is a pastor by profession and had developed interest in cooking when he was very young. Narayan described his family has as ‘big entertainers’ who always had a bunch of people over for breaking bread together. Even though Justin comes from Indian origin, he has mixed interest in cooking which features both India  as well as Fijian flavors. 

The young Chef is from southern part of India which is known to be rich in flavors and spices in their food. During an interview Justin talked about how his whole inspiration to start cooking came from watching the famous TV show named Huey’s Cooking Adventures. 

He also talked about how he wished to have a food truck or a restaurant of his own serving South Indian food. Narayan started cooking at an early age of 13 under the guidance of his mother who was also his inspiration.

Justin talked about his mother in a recent Instagram post where he mentioned that his childhood was not all glitter and gold. Despite having a rough childhood Justin talked about his strong bond with his mother Sunita. He mentioned how his mother taught him important values and cooking. There has not been much information about his father.

Sources revealed that Justin has been in a relationship with Esther since the past  two years and he recently proposed to her. Esther goes by the name ‘Esther Smoothy’ on social media. She is currently working as the Coach at the SwimClan since the previous year. Esther has graduated from Curtain University with a degree in Business and is currently enrolled in Griffin University and will be graduating next year with a degree in Communication, Public Relations and Journalism.
