Yuvraj Singh's Panchkula home robbed; Rs 75K cash, jewellery & more stolen

In a bizarre development, Team India's former allrounder Yuvraj Singh's Panchkula home was robbed and multiple things were stolen from his house. Reports suggest that Yuvraj Singh's house in  MDC Sector 4, Panchkula was robbed and an FIR has been lodged against unidentified thieves. The incident involved the theft of Rs 75,000 in cash and various pieces of jewellery. As per reports, Yuvraj Singh's house robbery incident has raised suspicions about the household staff employed there.

 

Yuvraj Singh's mother, Shabnam Singh, reportedly disclosed that the housekeeping staff, Lalita Devi from Saketdi, and the cook, Sildar Pal from Bihar, were under suspicion. Shabnam stated that she had been staying at their other residence in Gurgaon since September 2023. Upon her return to the MDC house on October 5, 2023, she discovered the absence of jewellery valued at approximately Rs 75,000 and other items from a cupboard in a first-floor room.

 

Despite her efforts to investigate the matter personally, she was unable to uncover any leads. It was noted that Lalita Devi and Sildar Pal abruptly terminated their employment and fled during the Diwali festival period. Yuvi's mother Shabnam has filed an FIR and have expressed her suspicion on two of her former employees. The Police have started their investigation. 

 

SHO Mansa Devi reportedly commented on the delicate balance between conducting an effective investigation and managing media inquiries, stating, "If we disclose everything to the media, how will we manage to apprehend the thieves?" This sentiment was echoed by SHO Dharampal Singh of Mansa Devi, who, after initially responding to media inquiries, ceased communication with the press.
