Dhurandhar is inspired by true events that revolves around Lyari Gang War incident that took place in Pakistan. Akshaye Khanna plays Rehman Dakait, Sanjay Dutt plays SP Choudhary Aslam, and Ranveer Singh plays Hamza Ali Mazari who real name is Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

Hence, the real identity of Jaskirat Singh Rangi has not been revealed by the makers.
Ranveer plays Hamza Ali Mazari who real name is Captain Jaskirat Singh Rangi. He was planted by Indian Intelligence Agency in Pakistan so that he can brought Pakistani gangsters, ISI and terrorists at loggerheads at each other.
Captain Jaskirat Singh Rangi is a covert agent from the Punjab Regiment. Interestingly, Jaskirat Singh Rangi's name was mentioned in the movie Uri that featured Vicky Kaushal.
