Haq is Inspired from Supreme Court’s Historic Judgement
Haq, which stars Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam Dhar, vividly depicts the tale of an inspirational woman who will not be quieted. She is joined in this compelling courtroom drama by Emraan Hashmi, who plays a razor-sharp barrister who challenges society to take a stand.
Inspired by the landmark judgment of the Supreme Court, the film revisits one of the most controversial and urgent debates of the 80s one that remains even relevant today: Should there be one nation, one law? Where should we draw the line between personal belief and secular law? The movie will be released on 7th November.
Earlier, the movie unveiled a new track titled Qubool, capturing the chemistry between the two leads. The song is composed by Vishal Mishra, whike the lyrics were penned by Kaushal Kishore, with Armaan Khan lending his soulful voice to the track.
The film follows a woman’s tireless fight for her rights after her husband abandons her. Alongside Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam, the film stars Sheeba Chaddha and Vartika Singh in prominent roles.
