I loved the complexity of the role she was dealing with at home in her personal life and in her professional life. I’ve always been drawn to such characters real, layered, strong, yet relatable because of their struggles.
So when I was offered this part, combined with the fact that it came from a show I had really loved, and was now being adapted in an Indian context, I knew I wanted to be part of it."
