

With India on entrepreneurial wave, Shark Tank India Season 5 all set to stream on Sony TV and SonyLiv from January 5, 2025. For those who have not watched a single episode, Shark Tank is a show where entrepreneurs come up with their businesses and seek investment from judges who are called sharks.
SonyLiv has dropped the list of sharks who will be returning as investors/judges in Shark Tank India Season 5.
Apart from the 'OG Sharks' like Aman Gupta (boAt), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Vineeta Singh (Sugar), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), and Namita Thapar (Emcure).
Other sharks who are also returning at Shark Tank India Season 5 are- Amit Jain (CarDekho), Kunal Bahl (Snapdeal and Titan Capital), Ritesh Agarwal (OYO), and Viraj Bahl (Veeba).

Mohit Yadav, Co-Founder of Minimalist, will join Shark Tank India Season 5 as the new shark. Minimalist specialises in skincare and hair products. The company claims that it offers clean, transparent, and well-researched products.
Based in Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mohit Yadav is a B-Com graduate. He is also a gold medalist in Associate Chartered Accountant in finance and accounts from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Interestingly, Mohit has served as Vice President of CarDekho for over four years from 2013 to 2017. Interestingly, Amit Jain who is the Co-Founder of CarDekho will also be seen as a shark at Shark Tank India Season 5.
Shaily Mehrotra, CEO& Founder of Fixderma, will also feature in Shark Tank India Season 5. Fixderma specialises in dermatologically approved skincare products, focusing on specific concerns like acne, aging, sun protection, etc.
Hailing from Gurgaon now Gurugram (Haryana), Shaily Mehrotra's LinkedIn bio reads, "I started Fixderma with a simple intention — to create science-driven products that genuinely work. Shaily Mehrotra did her schooling from Varanasi. Thereafter, Shaily Mehrotra did her MBA from University of Southern Queensland.
Hardik Kothiya, founder & MD of Rayzon Solar and Rayzon Green, will be featuring at Shark Tank India Season 5 as a 'shark'. Hailing from Surat (Gujarat), Hardik Kothiya's company Rayzon Solar that deals in renewable energy business. According to reports, Hardik is among India's youngest billionaires with a net worth of Rs 3970 crores.
Hardik did his Bachelors in Engineering from Shri Swami Atmanand Saraswati Institute of Tech. Thereafter, he did his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Gujarat University.
Hardik's official LinkedIn bio reads, "Born in the business family with the aim to become successful business man, pursued Engineering degree from the reputed institute, I’m associated with solar Industry since 2016."

Co-Founder & CEO of JetSetGo Aviation Services, Kanika Tekriwal will also join the elite panel of Sharks at Shark Tank India Season 5.
Based in Delhi, Kanika's company JetSetGo manage and operate India’s largest private jet and helicopter fleet. Kanika has also beaten cancer at a young age.
She did her education in BA Economics from Mumbai University and then did MBA in Finance from Coventry University in England.
Kanika has wrote in her LinkedIn bio, "As the Co-founder and CEO of JetSetGo Aviation Services Pvt. Ltd., my journey in aviation began at the age of 17. Balancing college and work, I cultivated a dream: to revolutionise the way we connect from point A to point B."
