Shark Tank India Season 5 Episode 2 aired on SonyLiv on January 6, 2026. The latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 5 took almost un ugly turn when sharks Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta started taking dig at each other to secure a deal.
The tense moment can be understood by the fact that Anupam Mittal took a dig at Aman Gupta saying that 'you don't even have a job anymore (teri toh job bhi nahi bachi).
Aman Gupta seemed totally miffed with Anupam's remarks and said, "Do you really think I don't have a job anymore?"
Anupam Mittal's remarks came after Aman Gupta first took a dig at him. When Anupam Mittal was trying to woo the entrepreneurs to get the deal saying that he is the king of digital products, and IPs, Aman jumped into it and asked, 'then why so many of your companies shut down?"
It was shark Namita Thapar who finally intervened and stopped them from going at each other. Aman was so miffed with Anupam's remarks that he refused to do an all sharks deal saying, "I don't like him (Anupam) anymore."
Varun and Pooja, who hail from Mumbai, brought their brand EMoMee, a micro-story universe where they drop a new story on YouTube every day. These videos teach real-life skills to kids between the ages of 3 and 8 years. The couple asked for an investment of Rs 1 crore for 2 percent equity.
Varun also revealed that he has made content ecosystems for the biggest of brands for the last 14 years. Soon after their introduction, Aman Gupta walked up to the couple and greeted them.
When Namita asked how he knew them, Aman revealed, "Glitch was one of the finest creative companies out of India. Our entire creative program, production, startegy were made by Varun and his team. I would not even know what I had to do, so Varun has been an integral part in developing BoAt in the initial phase."
In the end, EMoMee founders secured Rs 2 crore investment from Aman Gupta and Namita.
