2-day holiday announced in 41 schools of Jalandhar on September 9-10, check list

Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, has ordered the closure of 41 government schools in the district on September 9 and 10, 2025. The directive has been issued for administrative reasons, especially for schools that have been damaged or are still reeling under floods or water-logged water.

Below is list of Jalandhar closed tomorrow-

According to the official order from the DC office, the following schools will remain closed for two days:

3. Government Primary School, Kotli Than Singh

4. Government Primary School, Dhan Mohalla

5. Government Primary School, Fattudhinga

6. Government Primary School, Ucha Bet

7. Government Primary School, Dhilwan

8. Government Primary School, Jalandhar Cantt.

9. Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Adampur

10. Government Primary School, Basti Guzan-2

11. Government Primary School, Shahkot, Railway Road

12. Government Primary School, Kot Badal Khan, Nakodar Block

13. Government Primary School, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar

The Deputy Commissioner directed that all these institutions must strictly follow the closure order on the said dates. Normal classes will resume after September 10.
