Following the ‘lathi charge’ on peaceful protesters at Jantar Mantar on Monday and subsequent efforts to trouble students through false cases, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal came forward to assure affected students and their families of full legal and medical support. Calling the action against the students "deeply shameful", he said the party stands firmly with every student who became a victim of the Modi Government's unprecedented brutality.

Reassuring the students, the AAP Chief expressed, "You are all our children. Do not be afraid. We stand with you and we will fight this battle together." He urged those requiring legal, medical or any kind of assistance to contact *8588833548*, saying the Aam Aadmi Party's legal and medical teams would extend immediate support and ensure the best possible legal assistance for every affected student.

Addressing a press conference, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, "The way the Modi Government brutally attacked the children and youth of our country on Monday, I don't think history has ever witnessed anything like it. PM Modi has surpassed even the British. Even the British perhaps never carried out such a lathi charge or attack on freedom fighters the way the Modi Government attacked its own country's children on Monday."

Referring to videos circulating on social media, he continued, "There are countless videos in which children are pleading before the police and girls are folding their hands, yet the police continue to beat them. Several videos show unarmed children being attacked without any provocation. I saw two or three police personnel standing on the road, mercilessly lathi charging every child passing by without any reason. In many places, where there was absolutely no need and only 20 to 25 children were sitting peacefully, tear gas shells were still fired."

The AAP Chief asserted, "Several false FIRs have been registered against children. I have seen many parents posting on social media that their children are missing and cannot be found. Perhaps the police have picked them up and taken them to some jail or an unknown location, and nobody is telling them anything. Such cruelty has never been seen before. It feels as though PM Modi has surpassed even General Dyer of Jallianwala Bagh. Some people are even saying that perhaps General Dyer's soul has been reborn as PM Modi."

Warning against the government's threats, he said, "Just a short while ago, the Modi Government's police issued a press release threatening that strict FIRs would be registered against everyone who participated in Monday's protest. I want to tell PM Modi that this country does not belong to your father. It belongs to 140 crore people. Stop issuing such threats, otherwise the people of this country will teach you such a lesson that history will remember what happened to a dictator in this country." Reassuring the country's children and their parents, he added, "Do not worry at all. We are all together. We will not let anything happen to your children."

Announcing a helpline number, Arvind Kejriwal said, "If anyone needs legal assistance, if someone's child is missing, if a false case has been filed against a child or they have been arrested, they can contact us on 8588833548. The Aam Aadmi Party has formed a legal team that will help you. If required, we will even arrange the biggest lawyers in the country to stand for your children. Nobody needs to panic. PM Modi should keep his threats to himself. This country is not going to be intimidated by them. All 140 crore of us stand together. By attacking the youth and children of this country, you have attacked all 140 crore people. If anyone needs medical or any other kind of assistance, please send a message on the helpline instead of calling. As soon as we receive the message, our team will immediately get in touch and provide every possible help."

*I Was in Punjab for Something, But Both My Children Participated in the Protest Alongside the Youth: Arvind Kejriwal*

The AAP Chief shared, "Some people have been asking why I was not present at Monday's protest. I had to travel to Punjab for some reason, but both my children were there. They walked shoulder to shoulder with the other protesters for four to five hours. When tear gas shells were fired, my children were present there as well. All our leaders and the entire Aam Aadmi Party were present. This entire country is one family of 140 crore people. Nobody needs to fear these dictators. We are all together and we will fight together."

*The Children of Our Country Are Not ‘Anti-Nationals’, PM Modi Himself Is the Biggest ‘Anti-National’: Arvind Kejriwal*

Responding to the continuous FIRs and allegations that the protest was sponsored, Arvind Kejriwal said, "This is a fixed narrative of the BJP. If PM Modi says these children are anti national, then I want to tell him that you yourself are the biggest traitor to this country. If he says these children are terrorists, then you yourself are the biggest terrorist. The country is now fed up with you. Every allegation being levelled against these children is completely false."

*The Children's Simple Demand Is to Stop Examination Leaks; Can PM Modi Not Even Do That? Why? Arvind Kejriwal*

He further said, "These are our children. What are they asking of you? They are simply saying, stop paper leaks. Even as the Prime Minister, you cannot stop paper leaks. Either you are completely helpless, or the money from paper leaks reaches you. Despite that, you are calling these very children traitors and terrorists."

*There Are Videos of Police Damaging Their Own Vehicles and Pelting Stones; Is That Right? Arvind Kejriwal*

Responding to a question, Arvind Kejriwal said, "Videos from Monday have gone viral showing police pelting stones at children. Is it the job of the police to throw stones? There are also videos showing police personnel damaging their own vehicles and carrying out lathi charges in plain clothes. Is this right? Will you level such false allegations and throw the children of your own country into jail?”
